Steam Punk Ahoy!

Hello again!

I've decided to post these two preview pages of a graphic novel idea I have been working on. I started working on the idea at the beginning of last year, but other work has since taken precedence, but I al quite excited about this idea, and would like to come back to it as soon as I can! I don't want to say too much about it, for numerous reasons...1) It still in its early stages and...2) It may never see the light of day, so I don't want to hype it up too much just yet. But needless to say, it does involve machines. And orange.

Machines and orange are pretty much THE best combination. This is seriously amazing. This is book shelf material, and definitely something I'd buy!!! Fandabulous :D Can't wait to see more!

Thank you so much, Lil! That's hugely appreciated!! Big time. :) I thought machines and orange would be a safe bet. They just wouldn't believe me...

No problem at all :) i only speak the truth!...Hmm I swear that's a line from a film right there.
When I was looking at this, all I could think was "WHY have I not seen Jamie's books in Forbidden Planet or something...?" This is totally the kind of thing I'd pick up.
Your work is so good i want to eat it! But i won't, because that would be unfortunate.

I really like steampunk type stuff. Love the big cogs and boilers and pipes. Looks really cool.
I hope you manage to get it finished :)

Haha...I dunno, the ink I use is all natural, I think there's gotta be some nutrition in there somewhere...

Thanks once again, so much, to the both of you! It is really helpful to know what people think of the work! I would LOVE to do a whole Steampunk book, but graphic novels seem to have a bit of an unsteady footing at the moment (at least in the UK), so it's all about the waiting game with potential publishers... (ahhh, freelance illustration...who needs money, anyway?!) But yes, a massive thank you once more! :)

That's just insanely fun. Cogs, robots, running... that's like the three best things ever, all crammed into a few panels. Genius!

Thanks for the comments, Guy, that's very kind of you! Steam punk and running all the way! ALL THE WAY!
